Sea Ranch Lodge guest comments

"sighhhh...what a relaxing lodge. This place is great for a romantic getaway. Stunning views, fantastic restaurant. This is the most reasonably priced ocean view room I've seen in awhile. This is a place I would love to go back to and keep giving business...the staff is so nice!"

"My family and & I had an amazing birthday dinner in their restaurant, which was fabulous!  Our server was polite, funny and efficient.  Food was great, although menu was short & sweet.  Complimentary slice of birthday cake with candles was nice.  View was unbelievable and we even spotted a few migrating whales, what a night!"

"...My hat's off to everyone's extreme hospitality. They've done an exceptional job of making guests feel like they're the most important people in the world. They thoroughly understands the fine art of how to gain visitors' confidence and loyalty, then forge that friendship for life. You simply must discover it for yourself! As one staff member said to me, "The journey is part of the experience." I counter with, "The experience was worth the journey."

"Founded in 1964 and hailed as one of the first eco-sensitive resort communities in the United States, the utopian hideaway of Sea Ranch occupies 10 miles of rugged Pacific coastline about two hours north of San Francisco, in an area locally known as Mendonoma, at the border of Sonoma and Mendocino counties. Set near a redwood forest, the Sea Ranch Lodge is a magnificent example of mid-60's rustic-modern design. Nearly all of the 20 cedar-paneled rooms have leather armchairs and spectacular ocean views, but hedonists should opt for Nos. 19 or 20, which include fireplaces and spa tubs. Full breakfast at the lodge restaurant is a feast of local organic fruit, freshly baked biscuits, and omelettes-fuel for foraging stones and driftwood on the bluffs and on nearby Black Point Beach. The real show starts at sunset: Take in the majestic view from Adirondack chairs on the lawn or with a glass of one of 115 local wines"
