The Art in the Redwoods Festival returns to Gualala Arts Center for the 53rd annual event. What began among the redwoods on Gualala ridge in 1961 has grown to a weekend attraction for thousands. This popular weekend event features art from near and far along with free entertainment and artists booths. The heart of the festival is the exhibit of fine art throughout the building, including oil paintings, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, drawings, photographs, sculpture, woodworking, stained and fused glass, jewelry and fiber arts – most of them for sale.

The North Coast Artists' Guild presents the 22nd annual Studio Discovery Tour. Come explore unique artist’s studios in coastal northern Sonoma and coastal southern Mendocino Counties on a free self-guided adventure. Meet painters, potters, print makers, carvers, woodworkers, fiber artists, photographers, jewelers, and mixed media artists – all who call the northern California coast home. Be inspired, as they are, by the rugged beauty of nature unspoiled.

Labor Day Weekend

Sea Ranch Lodge is stop #1 on the tour.  The annual Sea Ranch Art Tour, sponsored by Spindrift Gallery and Studio 391, offers the art lover the opportunity to meet 24 professional and emerging artists in their Sea Ranch homes and studios and nearby artist-owned galleries. All artists have been invited to participate because of their experience, talent and artistic achievement. Among them are several award-winning guest artists from San Francisco, Marin and Oregon. The free, self-guided tour takes place Labor Day Weekend.
